Search ServiceNow Database

The Search ServiceNow Database shortcode creates a simple search bar on any page that allows users to search NC State’s ServiceNow online help system for knowledge base topics and service tickets. This shortcode also provides the option of narrowing the search to a particular university ServiceNow work group.

Search ServiceNow Database

To add Search ServiceNow Database to your page:

1. Make sure you have installed the NC State Shortcodes and Shortcake (Shortcode UI) plugins on your site.
2. Follow the steps to add a shortcode to your page. Select Search ServiceNow Database from the options panel.
   

   Select Search ServiceNow Database

    

3. Enter your ServiceNow work group (optional)
   

   Enter your Workgroup and click Insert Element

    

4. Click the Insert Element button in the lower righthand corner of the options panel.
